Since 2014, Hollywood has teased its own version of the massive crossover, but it’s taken over a decade for that to truly materialize. Given the built-in appeal of both the billion-dollar Transformers movies and the enduring G.I. Joe brand, the crossover film is positioned to be Chris Hemsworth’s biggest, most lucrative post-MCU role yet.
