Watch More Than 110,000 People Sing Along With George Strait At Record-Breaking Concert

On Saturday, June 15th, George Strait Broke The Record For Highest Concert Attendance In The United States

Country music legend George Strait is no stranger to breaking records. He is the only artist to have charted a top 10 song every year for 30 consecutive years and has more No. 1 singles on the country charts than any other artist.

This weekend, the Texas native drew an astounding 110,905 ticket-buying fans to his sold-out show at Texas A&M University’s Kyle Field. The show was the only Texas stop on Strait’s current stadium tour and featured openers Parker McCollum and Catie Offerman.

This monumental turnout solidified George Strait as the new record holder for the highest U.S. single-night concert attendance. The previous record was set nearly 50 years ago by The Grateful Dead at their 1977 show at Raceway Park in New Jersey.

George Strait’s fan base has been devoted to celebrating his music over his decades-long career. This historic show allowed them to gather together and sing along to their favorite songs live. Many attendees posted videos from the evening on social media, which showed just how palpable the energy was in the packed stadium.
