TAYLOR SWIFT’S STAGE COSTUMES , musical legacy and never-before-seen artifacts are to go on display at a museum in London.

According to the Guardian , Taylor Swift | Songbook Trail is an exhibition celebrating the musical achievements of the international superstar. Through items that have followed the artist from childhood to the present, fans have the opportunity to learn more about her life and music career. The event takes place at the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) from July 27 to September 8, with no admission fee.

Since 13 is Taylor Swift’s lucky number, the exhibition has 13 areas representing each era of the singer’s music, according to People . The event will feature 16 outfits and many prominent accessories that have appeared in performances big and small. Some of the highlights include the boots Taylor wore on stage to open Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul tour in 2007, the blue, pink, and purple coat from the 1989 concert in 2015, and the black Victorian dress from the Fortnight music video .

Kate Bailey, senior curator at the V&A, said it was an honour to showcase Taylor Swift’s iconic outfits. Speaking about her musical legacy, she said: “Taylor’s songs are like objects with many stories, inspired by the singer’s paintings, history and literature. We hope the exhibition will inspire visitors to explore more about the artist’s performance style and creativity.”

The event is also seen as a celebration of Taylor Swift’s success in the UK with her The Eras Tour , which has cemented her status as a pop icon. The Guardian reports that Taylor Swift’s London concerts alone have brought in around £300 million for the capital. She has also performed in other cities in the UK, including Edinburgh, Liverpool and Cardiff. The Eras Tour will return to London for five shows in August.
