Cameron Brink and Angel Reese are two of the biggest names from the 2024 WNBA draft. While Brink went at No. 2 to the LA Sparks, just behind Iowa’s Caitlin Clark, Reese was taken at No. 7 by the Chicago Sky. Both are off to great starts and established themselves among the frontrunners of the Rookie of The Year.

Ahead of their first matchup on Thursday in Chicago, let’s have a look at their starts.

Reese has averaged 12 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game for Chicago (2-3). However, she is only shooting 37.3%, which could see an improvement as the season progresses.

On the other hand, Brink is excelling on both ends of the floor for Los Angeles (2-4). She is averaging 9.5 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 2.3 assists per game. And she’s been a monster at the defensive end, averaging 1.2 steals and leading the league in blocks per game (3.0).
