With summer in full swing, that means Summer House will soon kick off shooting its next season.

A source close to production confirms to PEOPLE that when filming on season 9 begins on Friday, July 5, former fiancés Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke will both be back on the show. In fact, with the exception of Danielle Olivera, all of the season 8 castmates — Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, Gabby Prescod, Jesse Solomon and West Wilson — will return to the Hamptons for season 9.

The source confirms new cast members will be added for season 9, too.

Variety was the first to report the news.

Lindsay Hubbard Accuses Carl Radke of Laying the Groundwork to ‘Villainize’ Her in the Wake of Their Breakup

Hubbard, 37, and Radke, 39, got engaged in August 2022 and the proposal aired on season 7 of Summer House. They planned to tie the knot in Mexico in November 2023, but the couple called off the wedding three months prior during a conversation shown in the Summer House season 8 finale.

Hubbard told Glamour that she didn’t feel nervous about filming with Radke again this summer.

“It’s almost a year ago that we broke up, and I did a lot of healing,” she said. “I’m still healing in different ways, of course, but I’m just so happy to not be in that.”

The former publicist confirmed during the Summer House season 8 reunion that she’s been dating “a wonderful man” since January, although she declined to name him.

“We actually went on a few dates three and a half years ago,” Hubbard said. “It was just bad timing back then for him and for me and then he kinda popped back up in December and we started dating in January. Yeah, I would say it’s tracking in the pretty serious direction. He’s been a great support.”

Radke, however, said at the time of filming the reunion that he hadn’t kissed or slept with another woman since being with Hubbard.

“I haven’t kissed anybody since Lindsay,” he confessed. “I haven’t hooked up with anybody since Lindsay and that’s f—ing embarrassing. But that’s where my head has been because I hurt someone I care about.”

Miller and Wilson’s return to the Summer House marks another pair of exes who will be living under the same roof this summer. The nurse, 28, and the sports journalist, 29, started dating when Wilson entered the house for season 8 and continued seeing each other into the fall.

During part 1 of the season 8 reunion, the duo revealed that they ended things in December due to Wilson’s concern about being in a public relationship.

“I was starting to get everything that we were tagged in or posted about or whatever was ‘Ciara and newbie guy,’ whatever,” Wilson said. “And I was like, am I just going to be some f—ing dude who came onto the show and is just Ciara’s puppet the whole time?”

Miller said she felt like she “got got” by Wilson.

“It was an easy cop-out to use the show as an excuse to just kind of nixing the whole thing, but obviously you’re enjoying it,” the model added.

Miller admitted in part 2 of the reunion that she still had feelings for Wilson and would consider giving him another chance under specific circumstances.

“It would have to be a world of change or something like it and I just don’t know what people are capable of so… I mean, I’m not holding my breath for anyone,” she said. “I can’t sit here and say that I like don’t still like him.”

Olivera, 35, announced on Tuesday, June 25, that she would not be part of the season 9 cast, citing in an Instagram post that she needed to “protect and prioritize the things that matter to me most,” which includes her fashion app Donne.

“Ultimately, I just need to trust my gut,” she wrote. “If I can’t put 100% of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn’t feel right doing it in a full time capacity. The network, production, my cast, and especially all of you deserve that.”

That doesn’t seem to mean that Olivera will be totally absent from the Bravo show this summer, though. “However I’m involved this summer, you can bet I’ll be rooting for another incredible season from my Summer House fam,” Olivera stated.

Cooke, 41, commented, “I know this isn’t goodbye but it’s still sad that it’s official. Best see you soon!”
