This Morning viewers were quick to complain on Monday’s show over a laughing yoga segment with many fans begging to ‘make it stop’ and others muting their televisions

This Morning fans were left begging ‘make it stop’ as a laughing yoga segment left viewers unimpressed on Monday.

During the latest instalment, hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary spoke to laughter yoga teacher, Jackie St James, and the fastest comedian in the world, Clive St James, as they shared the importance of laughter.

After revealing the benefits of getting more laughter in your life, guests Jackie and Clive then decided to demonstrate laughing yoga with Alison, 49, and Dermot, 51, as the foursome all erupted into laughter. Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to beg for the laughter segment to end.
One person said: “Make it stop, for the love of God #thismorning”, a different account put: “Me watching this segment like… #ThisMorning”, another wrote: “Sorry this isn’t working #thismorning”, a different viewer exclaimed: “What the f#@k!!!!!! #ThisMorning”, another quipped: “If you’ve just switched on switch back off again #ThisMorning”, a different viewer put: “Ok. Enough now #ThisMorning” while another added: “Mute button. #thismorning.”

It comes as Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard signed off from This Morning duties in style last week by announcing it was their last show until September. The duo have been entertaining morning viewers on the ITV show after taking over from Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. However, Cat and Ben have handed over hosting duties for the summer to Alison and Dermot.

As well as Alison and Dermot, other show favourites including Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, Rylan Clark, Rochelle Humes and Joel Dommett will also be stepping into hosting duties. New mumSian Welbywill also making her return to broadcasting for the first time since welcoming her baby daughter Ruby.

During the summer weeks, fans will be treated to a mix of fun seaside items from across the country. They will also watch on as chef John Torode MBE continues sharing a taste of the Mediterranean. Plus, there’ll be a sprinkle of some top Hollywood stars on the show, such as Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman who are set to star in Deadpool and Wolverine. Ben and Cat return to ITV ’s flagship daytime show on September 2, with Alison and Dermot returning to fronting on a Friday from September 6.
