LEGENDARY Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Larry Allen has died at the age of 52.

The Hall of Fame player died suddenly while on a family vacation, according to the Cowboys.

Allen was selected in the second round of the 1994 NFL Draft by the Cowboys and went on to make 11 Pro Bowls and six All-Pro teams.

He won the Super Bowl with them in 1996.

The Cowboys released a statement regarding Allen’s death on Monday.

“The Dallas Cowboys are very saddened to share that Cowboys legend, Super Bowl Champion, Cowboys Ring of Honor member, and Pro Football Hall of Famer Larry Allen passed away suddenly while on vacation in Mexico with his family on Sunday,” the statement read.

“Larry, known for his great athleticism and incredible strength, was one of the most respected, accomplished offensive linemen to ever play in the NFL.

“His versatility and dependability were also signature parts of his career.

“Through that, he continued to serve as inspiration for many other players defining what it meant to be a great teammate, competitor and winner.

“He was deeply loved and cared for by his wife, Janelle – whom he referred to as his heart and soul, his daughters Jayla and Loriana and son, Larry III.

“The Jones family and the Cowboys extend their deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers to the Allen family and grieve along with the many other friends and Cowboys teammates that also loved Larry.”

Allen was known for his brute strength, and his incredible feat of bench pressing over 700 pounds.

He was also extremely versatile, playing both tackle and guard on the offensive line.

Allen’s path to the NFL was a great achievement, as he overcame much hardship growing up.

He was stabbed 12 times while protecting his brother and attended four different high schools before going to Butte College.

Tributes poured in for the Hall of Famer, with fans sharing condolences for Allen’s family.

Allen’s daughter Loriana shared a tribute for he dad on Instagram after his sudden death.

“To say this is the most painful thing I’ve been through is an understatement,” she posted on Instagram.

“You always made sure everyone around you was taken care of. the best dad a girl could ask for. I will forever do everything in my power to make you proud.

“I’ll forever cherish the laughter and love you brought and lessons you’ve taught me in life. I know you’re up there with granny looking down on us looking out for all of us.

“I love you so much dad, rest in love.”

“One of the strongest lineman ever and id say #1 guard! A sad day for his family, Cowboys organization and fans! Condolences to all,” one fan said.

“Rip to a legend,” another fan said.

“I’m a NYG fan, and if you ask me my favorite all time NFL player…I might just say Larry Allen,” a third fan said.

“One of my all time favorite players and one of the best to ever do it. RIP Big Larry,” a fourth fan said.
