Chicago Sky minority stake owner Dwyane Wade recently reacted to the team’s big-time win over Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. Angel Reese and the Sky took down the Fever 88-87, securing their first win of the season series. Wade took to X to share his thoughts on the game, responding to Chennedy Carter’s blunt message.

Wade posted the shush emoji with the hashtag “Skytown” note on Carter’s message, blocking out the haters.

“Pssss I see dead people,” said Carter via X.

Despite the backlash the Sky have been facing all season, Chicago showed out on primetime, proving doubters wrong. Reese led the Sky with 25 pints and 16 rebounds, helping Chicago build momentum with a two-game win streak.

Carter finished the game with 23 points and five assists.

Many view Wade as an NBA legend and an all-time great for the Miami Heat, but he’s spent ample time during retirement with the Sky.

As a minority stake owner, he’s helped build his hometown WNBA team from the inside out, and players like Reese and Carter have truly highlighted the culture in Chicago.

After the win against Clark and the Fever, Chicago stands at No. 4 in the Eastern Conference standings with a 6-9 record.
