Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever hit a major roadblock on Sunday, losing to the Chicago Sky 88-87 on the road. After the game, Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell spoke with the media, sharing her praise of the rivalry against the Sky, and Clark agreed with her take.

“We need more money(smiling) … but seriously I think today was a really good moment to be a part of… the women’s basketball game as a whole took a big jump today,” said Mitchell via Matthew Byrne on X.

Clark then responded to Mitchell’s comments with a blunt message.

“Yeah, I agree with Kels.”

The Sky secured their first win of the season series, standing one spot ahead of the Fever in the Eastern Conference standings. Indiana is the No. 5 team in the league, right behind Angel Reese and the Sky at No. 4.

Clark’s message seems to be agreeing with the rivalry between Chicago. Mitchell explains that it’s helping grow the league, and the WNBA took a major jump following the game, which definitely holds some truth to it.

Indiana will be back in action on Thursday against the Seattle Storm. Their June 27th matchup will tip-off at 9:00 EST, with the Fever traveling to play the Western Conference opponent.
