Celebrities Visit SiriusXM - April 27, 2022Antonio Brown is poking fun at the Kansas City Chiefs’ offseason legal woes.

The Kansas City Chiefs have made the headlines lately as four players have now been arrested since they hoisted the Lombardi Trophy in Las Vegas. Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown, who makes headlines quite frequently himself, is using this opportunity to poke fun at others.

After news of defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs getting arrested on domestic violence charges broke this weekend, Brown shared his thoughts on X.

He re-shared the post of Buggs’ second arrest in just a few weeks and added his own take to it. The former Raiders star used the well-known GIF of ‘0 Days since’ to take a potshot at the Chiefs’ woes.

“0 Days since Last Chiefs Arrest”

Isaiah Buggs was arrested on Sunday for domestic violence-related burglary, according to the Tuscaloosa Patch, who reported the news. He was released on a $5,000 bail.

On May 29, 2024, Buggs was also charged with two misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty after Tuscaloosa Police found two dogs abandoned at his residence.

Four Kansas City Chiefs players who have been arrested this offseason

The Kansas City Chiefs are in the midst of creating a dynasty in this era of the National Football League. But, some off-field issues may put a dampner on their reign.

Kansas City has had four players arrested this offseason and while suspensions from the team and/or NFL haven’t surfaced, it’s likely the next step in the process.

Isaiah Buggs, who has faced two different sets of charges, is just one of Kansas City players in legal trouble. Wide receiver Rashee Rice was involved in a high-speed hit-and-run accident that injured several people including a four-year old and her mother.

Rice, who was driving a Lamborghini at the time of the collision, allegedly ran from the scene of the accident. Days later, he turned himself in and was charged with one count of aggravated assault, six counts of collision involving injuries, and one count of collision involving serious bodily injury.

Just a few weeks later, Rice was accused of getting in an altercation with a photographer at a nightclub in Dallas. The photographer refused to press charges and the case was dropped.

In May 2024, lineman Chukwuebuka Godrick and Wanya Morris were arrested on marijuana and THC possession charges; both were released on $2,500 bail.
