Angel Reese knows very well what kind of player she is, and that showed as the Chicago Sky finally won against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on Sunday.

After losing their first two meetings against Clark and Co., the former LSU star made sure that the Fever wouldn’t get another this time around. Reese exploded for a career-high in points with 25 along with a ridiculous 16 rebounds.

That historic performance from Reese allowed the Sky to erase a 15-point Fever lead and take the narrow 88-87 victory, all while putting an end to Indiana’s four-game winning streak.

After the game, the Chi Barbie spoke about her sensational display and described herself as a “dawg.” She emphasized that she knows her role is to bring that energy in every game and affect her teammates, and it certainly paid off big time.

“I’m a Dawg. You can’t teach that. I’m gonna go out there and do whatever it takes to win every single night. My teammates rely on my energy. So being able to continue the energy even if we’re down, even if we’re up, that’s what I do.”

Angel Reese can certainly be proud of what she did on Sunday. While many expected them to lose to the streaking Fever again, they never got discouraged and instead kept fighting on until they clawed their way back.

Sure enough, Reese was a huge reason in that comeback. Now, the Sky have won back-to-back games and seem poised for a long winning streak.
