2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year Aliyah Boston and the Indiana Fever geared up for the home opener on Thursday. They’re up against the New York Liberty and while some fans were excited to see the team play, a few weren’t huge admirers of Boston.

Given that it’s the first home game of the season for Indiana’s team, and the top rookie, Caitlin Clark. This is why the league has marketed the game as a must-watch for some fans.

However, a fan online wasn’t interested in watching the game. The fan left a comment letting other people on the internet know that he wasn’t fascinated by the game. Boston’s boyfriend, Tre-Vaughn Minott, decided to roast the fan in the comments section.

“But your punk a** cared enough to comment??” Minott commented.

The support for the WNBA has been incredible as of late. Fans flocked to the first two games with the arrival of rookie sensation Clark, giving the league the attention they deserved. In their season opener, the Mohegan Sun Arena held 8,910 fans.

 

Who is Aliyah Boston’s boyfriend?

Aliyah Boston has been with the University of South Carolina center Tre-Vaughn Minott since he started attending college. He started attending the university in 2020. According to an article by The US Sun, Minott is from Montreal, Canada.

Both Boston and Minott have shared their sweet moments with their fans. They love to make videos on TikTok with each other as they have a joint account on the social media platform called “2tallhumans4.”

In his freshman year, Minott played eight games for the Gamecocks. He had 2.5 points and 2.4 rebounds for the school. He’s a decent inside presence for the team as he made 55.6% from the field. His sophomore season was quite similar to his first season in college.

This time, however, he played more games, as he had 14 games of action. He had two points and 1.9 rebounds. He shot better from the field during the 2021-22 season as he knocked down 81% of his shots from the field.

In his junior year, his numbers dropped. He only played seven games during the season and rarely saw action. Minott had 0.4 points and 0.3 rebounds that season.


He transferred to Portland State and continued his junior year. He wrapped up the continuation of his junior year with one point and 1.4 rebounds.
