It’s safe to say that Caitlin Clark has the biggest target on her back and she has done nothing but be brilliant playing basketball in college.

Caitlin Clark, the University of Iowa basketball player who has dazzled crowds with her deep shooting range, has become quite the target of current and past WNBA players.

Diana Taurasi – a legend in both women’s college basketball at UConn and the WNBA with the Phoenix Mercury – had a stark warning for Clark that produced a ton of backlash when she admitted to ESPN that “reality” was coming for the Iowa star because she won’t be playing against teenagers anymore.

“Reality is coming,” she said on ESPN after the Hawkeyes’ win over the Huskies. “You look superhuman playing against some 18-year-olds but you’re going to come play with some grown women that have been playing professional basketball for a long time.

“There is gonna be a transition period where you’re going to have to give yourself some grace as a rookie.”

Taurasi also had something to say about LSU Tigers star Angel Reese when she shockingly blurted out, “Wave bye-bye to your own career” when the star could be seen waving to a Middle Tennessee player in the Round of 32.

Taurasi was also asked if she’d take UConn Huskies star Paige Bueckers over Clark in the upcoming WNBA Draft and she made it clear, “I’m taking Paige,” Taurasi replied bluntly. “Next question.”

Social media recently just came across an old video from four years ago that was a conversation between Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe when Taurasi chimed in and stated she wants to “kill” rookies when she first goes against them amid the comments she has been making against players like Caitlin Clark.

“Every time you play rookies, you just wanted to [expletive] kill them,” she said in the video.

“Physically, just punk them. There’s this mental bullying that takes place right before the ball goes up. And it happens in different ways, it happens like, ‘Oh you had such a good senior year I’m going to bust your [expletive] right now.’”

Diani Taurasi has said so much about Caitlin Clark that when the Iowa star finally hits the WNBA floor, at least three of her games will be highly anticipated.

Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury will play the Indiana Fever three times next season. The Fever are widely expected to take Caitlin Clark with the no. 1 pick in the draft.

Not a single basketball fan was surprised when the Indiana Fever selected Caitlin Clark with the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft.

Everyone assumed that would happen, especially after the season she just had at Iowa.
What people didn’t expect, however, was for Clark’s teammate, Kate Martin, to come off the board in the second round of the draft.

The Las Vegas Aces selected Martin 18th overall on Monday night.

Martin was nicknamed “The Glue” while at Iowa because she always kept the team together.

She played great defense, rebounded well, and would always come up big in crunch time.

As you’d expect, Clark was thrilled that Martin got drafted as early as she did.

Clark posted a selfie with Martin on Instagram along with this caption: “Couldn’t be happier for you.”

Martin spoke to ESPN after getting drafted by the Aces. She told Holly Rowe that she attended the draft in Brooklyn simply to support Clark.

“There are a lot of emotions right now,” Martin said.

“I’m really happy to be here. I was here to support Caitlin, but I was hoping to hear my name called.

All I wanted was an opportunity and I got it. I’m really excited.”

WNBA training camp begins on April 28. We’ll find out then if Martin can make an impact.

Antonio Brown starts his day unlike any other retired football legend by thinking about his next move to troll his ‘cracker of the day’.

Caitlin Clark has been Brown’s ‘cracker of the day’ for the past few days. It couldn’t have come on a worse day, since the week marks Clark getting drafted as the No. 1 overall in the WNBA draft. On one hand, fans across the world are lauding Clark for being drafted by Indiana Fever, whereas AB’s menacing memes are making her life a living hell.

Brown’s saga of harassing Clark online started similarly with AB congratulating her for surpassing Pеtе Maravich in NCAA’s Division 1 history in March. The messages took a sharp u-turn, however, with his memes beginning to ruthlessly troll Clark. Even now, AB shows no signs of stopping his online harassment.

Continuing his online assault, Brown has now crossed another boundary by dragging Caitlin Clark’s relationship into the trolling. On 20th April, Brown posted a meme with a guy scrunching up his nose with the caption “Caitlin’s boyfriend leaving the house.”

Until now, Brown’s jabs were limited to just Clark, but dragging her boyfriend Connor McCaffrey into the equation has raised the seriousness of the online harassment to another level.

I’vе had еnough of thе constant abusе,” Clark said in a no-nonsense manner, later blocking AB. Now, her reaction to Brown adding another edge to the harassment would be awaited by the fans.

Clark went Instagram official with Connor McCaffrey, a fellow basketball player and Iowa alum. Following her WNBA draft selection, Clark was spotted celebrating with her boyfriend.

With the star-studded Manhattan skyline as the perfect backdrop, Clark and Iowa head coach Fran McCaffrey’s son had a round of cocktails, cheering Clark’s Overall No.1 selection.

Caitlin Clark and her boyfriend ended the day on a perfect note in a glass-encased lounge at The Fleur Room, per the Instagram story shared by Clark.

“My fav person in the world,” captioned Clark, with a picture of two cocktails and two B&W pictures of her and McCaffrey.

Even Connor McCaffrey took to his Instagram to praise his girl by posting her on his story with the caption “Welcome to Indiana” since McCaffrey is working as a team assistant for the Indiana Pacers.
