And Las Vegas Aces superstar Wilson has announced she will have her own signature shoe.

The two-time WNBA champion, 27, has two MVP awards and will now add the bumper commercial deal.

She wore a black Nike sweatshirt which read: “Of Course I Have A Shoe Dot Com” as she arrived for an exhibition against the Puerto Rican national team.

You thought. Of course, A’ja’s got a shoe. A’One A’rriving 2025.”

“It’s been incredible working with Nike toward a dream of having my collection, and it really is an honor to take this next step and become a Nike signature athlete,” Wilson said.

“From my logo to the look of the shoe and the pieces throughout the collection, we’ve worked to make sure every detail is perfectly tuned to my game and style.”

“I hope when girls wear this shoe, they believe in themselves,” Wilson continued.

“I want them to hopefully lace them up, feel powerful and understand that nobody can stop them from their dreams.

“Set those goals high. Go get them – that’s the biggest thing.”

Wilson’s shoe is available in 2025.

And before then, she will hope to help the Aces become the first team to win three straight championships since the Houston Comets in 2000.

Las Vegas opens the season against the Phoenix Mercury on Tuesday.

First overall pick Clark, 22, has played in two pre-season games with the Indiana Fever.

But now the stakes will be raised as she takes on the Connecticut Sun in her first pro game.

How the WNBA works

THE 2024 WNBA season features 12 teams with the regular-season running from May 14 to September 9.

Each team plays 40 regular-season games – four against five teams from the same conference and two teams from the other conference, and three games against the remaining four teams.

The top eight teams in the league standings qualify for the playoffs – regardless of what conference they’re in.

The playoffs will use a best-of-three format in the first round while the semifinals and WNBA Finals are best of five.

This season also includes a month-long break for the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The Las Vegas Aces are defending back-to-back WNBA champions.

“You know, preseason games you’re trying to be as competitive as possible but you’re still trying to figure it out, try different lineups,” Clark said.

“So, I feel now, getting out there for the first time will be really exciting and it will be super special.

“This is what you’ve worked for and dreamed of. Now you get to put your jersey on for the first real time and go out there and play.

“I think more than anything just soak in the moment. Get to play on the biggest stage, there’s gonna be a lot of people there, it’s gonna be loud.

“But you only play your first WNBA game once. I think just enjoy it. It’s gonna be really competitive.

“They’re really good, so you’ve gotta prep the right way, too. More than anything, we’re ready for the challenge.”
