Before there were rumors of tension with his brother William, Prince Harry used to be quite friendly with his sister-in-law, even giving her an extremely endearing nickname.

Before entering the royal family, Kate had some time to get to know her future husband’s family members. At that time, the two princes had not yet had a conflict. Harry quickly saw the girl William loved the most as family, and the three worked together very well.

Prince Harry loves his sister-in-law Kate very much.

After the wedding, the Duchess of Cambridge joined The Royal Foundation – a charity sponsored by the two princes. Here, they continued to co-found the mental health charity Heads Together. In a 2017 interview, Prince Harry revealed to Newsweek that through a long period of contact, he really saw Kate as his biological sister.

All three of them had a time working well together.

Reporter Angela Levin shared: “In Harry’s heart, the loss that Princess Diana’s death left behind was truly too profound. From childhood to adulthood, he could not find spiritual support to express that loneliness. Thanks to Kate, Harry’s empty heart due to lack of motherly love was somewhat comforted. When Kate got engaged to William, Harry called her ‘sister’, the most special sister he ever had. Harry also enjoys visiting his brother’s house at Kensington Palace. There, Kate will go into the kitchen to make delicious dishes, usually grilled chicken, to entertain her brother-in-law.”

The relationship between sister-in-law and brother-in-law is extremely good.

When Harry got engaged to Meghan Markle in 2017, Prince William still brought up this story to tease his younger brother. During his official visit to Finland, the Duke of Cambridge said: “I hope that once we are engaged, Harry will stop staring at my refrigerator and stop fighting with me for food. My younger brother has kept that habit for several years . ” Because they live together in Kensington Palace, Prince Harry has many opportunities to visit William’s house, and his relationship with Princess Kate is becoming stronger and stronger.

When Harry got engaged to Meghan, he expected Kate’s blessing.

Harry even wanted his sister-in-law’s blessing when he decided to propose to Meghan. Katie Nicholl wrote in Grazia in June 2018: “After realizing he wanted to be with Meghan for the rest of his life, Prince Harry immediately thought about introducing his lover to his sister-in-law Kate. When Meghan visited Harry in January, she brought a dream diary as a 35th birthday gift for Kate.

Harry sees Kate as his own sister, and when he finds a lover, he immediately wants the two of them to get to know each other.

Katie continued: “Kate and Harry are very close, she is like a guide, and he is like a child who longs to be recognized and supported by adults. Although Kate and Meghan have many differences, as a sister-in-law and her relationship with Harry, she still tries to reconcile and guide Meghan to stabilize. Kate always welcomes her sister-in-law to visit her apartment. The two of you meet at least once a week . ” Responding to her sister-in-law’s love, last May, on her wedding day, Meghan gave Kate a gold bracelet symbolizing close friendship.

The two Duchesses were very close thanks to Harry as a bridge.

However, because of the tense relationship between the two princes now, many people speculate that perhaps the relationship between Harry and Kate has also silently broken. In the documentary Harry and Meghan: An African Journey broadcast by ITV in October, Prince Harry revealed that recently the two brothers did not meet as often as before, and sometimes even quarreled. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also joined hands to establish their own charity, Sussex Royal, which means it is separate from The Royal Foundation jointly sponsored by Kate and William.
