NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has revealed he gets $1,000 pedicures to make his feet look better.

The ex-Los Angeles Lakers star said he paints his toenails — a routine dating back to his playing days.

O’Neal, 52, made the revelation in an episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq, which he co-hosts with TNT colleague Adam Lefkoe.

“I give about $1,000 because I know my feet stink, I know they’re ugly, and I like to paint them,” the four-time NBA champion said.

“I paint that s**t because it’s ugly and I want it to look pretty.”

Shaq said he even uses “sparkles” to decorate his toenails.

“I do like, sparkles and designs and all this stuff, you know,” he said.

“Just to make it look pretty because I have ugly, stinky feet.”

O’Neal said he started treating his feet with extra care thanks to his mom, Lucille.

The retired 7-foot-1 center recalled how Lucille once took care of his torn-off toenail, which nearly ruled him out of a game.

“I was like, I tore my toenail off, so she did something and then she put like, some red polish on the thing, and I had 40 that game,” Shaq said.

“So I was like, you know what, I’m just going to start painting my toenails.”

Shaq tells Charles Barkley ‘shut the hell up’ live on Inside the NBA as fans claim ‘he’s about to lose it’ with his co-star
ESPN shared the clip from O’Neal’s podcast on Instagram, adding a video of the Inside the NBA analyst getting a pedicure.

In the video, he could be seen slowly panning to his feet and then showing off his toenails with blue polish on them.

Shaq has been busy working for TNT since the start of the NBA Playoffs.

But it hasn’t stopped him from being his entertaining self.

He crashed a live segment of the NHL on TNT crew earlier this week to skate in the studio with two skateboards attached to his feet.

O’Neal also hilariously told Charles Barkley to “shut up” after his Inside the NBA co-star interrupted his prediction for Thursday’s doubleheader.

Fans of the show fear the feel-good squad’s time together might be coming to an end.

TNT appears to be in danger of losing the NBA’s TV rights with NBC reportedly preparing a $2.5 billion offer for the likely last available game package.

Amazon and ESPN are understood to have already come to an initial agreement with the league over a broadcasting deal, starting from the 2025-26 season.

TNT has been the home of the NBA for the last three decades.
