Sunday’s WNBA slate features Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky, who traveled to Indiana to take on Caitlin Clark and the Fever. Ahead of this exciting matchup, multiple key name players pulled out impressive fits pregame.

Among the most notable players in action in this game is the 2024 No. 1 pick. For her pregame fit, Clark busted out an all-denim fit.

Angel Reese is another member of the 2024 class taking the floor on Sunday afternoon. She, too, was sporting a denim-inspired look, rocking a pair of jean shorts. The Sky forward was also wearing a pink crop top with some sunglasses.

Along with Reese, Kysre Gondrezick busted out a stylish pregame fit. She arrived at the arena with her rookie teammate in jean shorts and a black button-up shirt.

Dating back to their battles in college, Reese and Clark have played a big role in the recent boom in women’s basketball. After facing off earlier this season, the two are adding another chapter to their storied rivalry.

How did Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark play the first time they squared off in the WNBA?

The first time Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark battled on the WNBA stage was on June 1. Things would end up going down to the wire, with the Fever picking up a thrilling 71-70 victory.

Reese struggled offensively in this game but made an impact in other areas. While she only posted eight points on 2-for-9 shooting, she came down with 13 rebounds.

Clark also didn’t have a strong game shooting-wise (4-for-11) but did do a little bit over everything in the win. In 37 minutes, she posted a stat line of 11 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

A big reason why Indiana came away victorious in the first meeting was because of their play as a whole. They got production up and down the roster, with all five starters scoring in double figures. Chennedy Carter tried to give the Sky a spark off the bench, but her 19 points wasn’t enough to get her team over the hump.

Through the first few weeks of the season, Angel Reese and Clark have put together strong starts. The former LSU star is getting it done on both ends, averaging a double-double (12.0 points, 10.0 rebounds). Meanwhile, Clark has been an offensive sparkplug for the Fever. This season, she is averaging 15.6 ppg, 4.9 rpg and 6.0 assists.

Given how impressive both players have been thus far, it could result in an exciting Rookie of the Year race in the WNBA.
