Las Vegas Aces superstar A’Ja Wilson showed everyone that she isn’t just one of the best players on the court, but she also has what it takes to outshine others with her pregame outfits. Ahead of the defending champion’s clash against the Seattle Storm, Wilson’s pre-game outfit consisted of a white top and dark jeans as well as a fashionable pair of pink sunglasses.

However, the highlight of her look was the Louis Vuitton OnTheGoMM handbag she carried with her.

Her look even earned a spot on the Aces’ official Instagram page:

A’Ja Wilson and Las Vegas Aces falter in 2nd quarter against Seattle Storm

After changing into her jersey, it was game time for A’Ja Wilson and the Aces. They were tasked with defending home court against a hungry Seattle Storm squad who were only one game behind them in the standings (Aces: 5-2, Storm: 6-3).

The first quarter was a slugfest between both teams. The Aces fired the opening salvo courtesy of an Alysha Clark layup which was immediately countered on the other end by Ezi Magrebor. These two baskets set the tone for the game’s first quarter as they exchanged baskets early on.

Midway through the first, things started to shift in the Storm’s favor as they went on a run to pull ahead for an eight-point lead with a little under four minutes (15-7, 3:47 mark). This did not last long as the WNBA’s defending champs displayed their resilience by going on a 9-2 run to cut the lead to 17-16 by the time the quarter ended.

The Aces started the second quarter by scoring first once again but things started to unravel quickly as the Storm started to pull away once again.

By the three-minute mark of the second, the visiting Storm had a six-point lead (30-24). Unlike in the first quarter, the Aces could not cut down the lead. The lead quickly grew by 10 points (34-24) with under two minutes left. At the end of the first half, A’Ja Wilson and the LV Aces were trailing, 36-28 after being outscored 19-12 in the second half.

Regardless of the result, Wilson has continued to shine on the court. She already surpassed the 20-point mark, tying with Diana Taurasi for the longest streak of 20+ point games in WNBA history with 13.

Wilson ended the night with 29 points and 11 rebounds in 36 minutes of play. However, her effort couldn’t get the Aces over the line in the end, as the Storm came away with a 78-65 win at Michelob ULTRA Arena.
