Although the Chicago are having a rough year when it comes to racking up victories, Angle Reese remains a bright light on the court.

While Chicago entered the contest against the Dallas Wings with a losing record, they would have quite the easy match on Thursday when facing a team with a worse record than them.

During this game, Angel Reese made WNBA history as she registered her seventh consecutive double-double against the Dallas Wings — the longest streak ever for a rookie.

In the game, she came out strong, scoring seven rebounds in the first eight minutes, six of which came on the defensive side.

Reese also had 10 points and 13 rebounds halfway through the third quarter.

She would finish the game with 16 points on 7 of 13 shooting from the field while adding 18 total rebounds, three assists, and two steals, per ESPN.com.

The Sky would beat the Dallas Wings 83-72 and secured their fifth win of the season and their second home victory of the year.

Angel Reese Getting More Comfortable On Court Amid Drama With Media

After scoring a career-high 20 points against the Connecticut Sun last week, Reese has continued to look more comfortable with each passing game in her brief WNBA career.

Reese continues to excel on the court despite her contentious relationship with the media over her words being twisted.

Reese appeared more guarded with some of her answers this week amid the latest drama involving her and Caitlin Clark. The Chicago Sun-Times reported that Reese brushed off a few questions with a two-word answer: “I’m good.”

“I know how y’all like to twist my words, so I’m just keeping it short and sweet,” the former LSU standout said.

“I can’t trust any of y’all. So I’m just letting you know — short and sweet.”
