Indiana Fever Back to Losing Ways After a Rare Win

The Indiana Fever could not mount a spectacular comeback against the Las Vegas Aces on Saturday. Clark, who joined the elite group after achieving 50+ points and 15+ assists in three games, could only contribute 8 points, seven assists, and five rebounds in her 29 minutes of gameplay.

The Fever won their first game of the season against the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday, returning from an 11-point deficit. On Saturday in Las Vegas, Indiana was down substantially against the defending two-time champion Aces; nevertheless, the Fever could not recover. A’ja Wilson, Aces forward, led the Aces to a 99-80 victory over the Fever, scoring 29 points, grabbing 15 rebounds, and dishing out two assists. The Aces improved to 3-1 on the season, while the Fever fell to 1-6.

During the game against the Sparks, Clark made a fantastic 3-pointer in the final minutes that caught everyone’s eye. The crowd was pleasantly surprised by Clark’s skills.

Clark will return to action on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Sparks. It will be interesting to see how much fans will pay to see their favorite WNBA sensation at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
