Angel Reese was quick to brush off social media speculations about her worrying about somebody liking an alleged boyfriend’s posts.

On Thursday, the LSU star sat courtside at Madison Square Garden as the New York Knicks hosted crosstown rivals, the Brooklyn Nets.

During the game, Reese was seen on her phone and chatting with the person to her right. An X (formerly Twitter) account attempted to lip-read the clip and suggested Reese said: ‘Why she always in my man likes?’

‘This is not what I said lmaooo,’ Reese said in a repost. ‘I don’t have a man AT ALL.’

Reese recently split with FSU basketball star Cam’Ron Fletcher.

After eagle-eyed fans noticed they had taken down each other’s pictures from their profiles, Reese confirmed the breakup during an Instagram live video in March. The confirmation came on the eve of LSU’s March Madness opener against Rice University.

‘Yeah, I’m single,’ she told her 2.7 million followers. ‘I don’t got no man. Don’t attach me to no man. That’s all I’mma say. That’s it.’

Reese and Fletcher met six years ago and got closer during the COVID-19 pandemic. The pair first confirmed their relationship publicly in June 2023 when Reese went on her now-ex’s podcast and said: ‘Cam’Ron is my boyfriend, yes’

Less than a year later, the pair split after taking trips to Jamaica and New York City and getting matching tattoos with each other’s names.

Reese and LSU did not retain their 2023 national championship after falling to Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Elite 8 earlier this month.

After LSU’s exit from the tournament, the Bayou Barbie announced she would be entering the WNBA Draft.
