Chris Hemsworth has a hilarious reaction to not being able to lift his beloved hammer from MCU.

While not many would be happy with Marvel Cinematic Universe’s version of Thor the God of Thunder, fans are certainly happy to have Chris Hemsworth portray the Norse God of Thunder. Despite the character being fierce and formidable in Marvel Comics, Hemsworth’s version has come close to being more grounded and relatable with an ample amount of comic elements.

But what fans appreciate the most is how much of Hemsworth’s real personality can be found in the character, one of the main reasons why MCU’s version is now famous. And in a new video, shared by the actor himself, fans can clearly see why Hemsworth is Thor in real life and vice versa.

Chris Hemsworth is an incredible actor but when one sees his portrayal of Thor the God of Thunder, it is hard not to notice that the actor’s personality really does resemble a lot of his character’s persona. And in a new video posted by Hemsworth on his official X account, one can clearly see the actor is like his Marvel character.

In the short video, Hemsworth can be seen with his kids and family visiting a Marvel exhibit. Once they come across the mighty Mjolnir, the person behind the camera tells him,

Ask for it back. If you’re really Thor, go get it then!

As his kids look in amazement at Thor’s faithful hammer, which is also coincidentally signed by Hemsworth himself, the actor remarks,

I don’t remember signing that!

Proving he is yet again unworthy of picking up the hammer, Hemsworth later shared the hilarious video on his account with a witty caption,

Didn’t want to scare the kids but I could’ve definitely called Mjolnir if I wanted to…

His quirky remark, despite being a cover-up seems similar to what his Marvel character Thor might have said in a similar situation. Hemsworth’s hilarious response coupled with his reaction in the video was definitely a hit among fans, who quickly started responding with various memes in the comments. em
