The Chicago Sky finally got their first win against the Indiana Fever on June 23. After going 0-2 against Indiana, Chicago came from behind to pull out an 88-87 victory at Wintrust Arena.

While Caitlin Clark put up 17 points and broke a franchise record with 13 assists, Sky forward Angel Reese, who had the best performance of her WNBA career, pushed her team over the top.

Reese put up a season-high 25 points with 16 rebounds, recording her eighth consecutive double-double. During the fourth quarter alone, she put up 10 points.

After the game, Sky forward Brianna Turner demanded her teammate receive an apology, a tweet reposted by the LSU alum.

“Make sure the apology is just as loud as the disrespect,” Turner posted while touting Reese’s stats.

Reese reposted the message and wrote, “breezy had this tweeted before we even got back in the locker room. HER PHONE BE IN HER SOCK IM CONVINCED,” to which Turner replied, “Ma’am it be in my locker.”

The Sky’s official X account taunted the Fever after their one-point win. The team posted, “bUt wHy dO ThE ChIcAgO SkY HaTe tHe fEvEr? ThEy pLaY ToO HaRd. tHeY TaLk tOo mUcH. ThEy sHoUlD’Ve lEt tHeM WiN fOr ThE sAkE oF—” *transmission ends* anyways, back to our original programming: WE DON’T CARE BOUT NONE OF THAT. SKY ON TOP.”

The Fever and Sky will face each other again at Wintrust Arena on August 30.
