Barstool president Dave Portnoy was among those upset, as he shared a video clip where Evans was called for a foul after hooking her arm with Clark while defending her up the court.

This incident comes on the heels of Clark’s recent plea for people not to use her name for their own agendas.

Later in the game, Reese attempted to block a shot by Clark but hit her across the head instead, resulting in a foul that was upgraded to a flagrant one, giving the Fever two free throws and possession.

“Shocker. Angel Reese and the Sky doing Angel Reese and Sky stuff,” Portnoy posted on X characterizing the Sky as the “dirtiest players in the game.”

Another solid performance by Clark

Clark finished the game with an impressive stat line of 23 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds, shooting 7-for-11 from the field and making three 3-pointers. Aaliyah Boston also made significant contributions with 19 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocks.

As for Reese, she secured another double-double with 11 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists, while Carter added 18 points. Marina Mabrey led the Sky with 22 points, continuing to be the team’s top scorer this season.
