King Charles III is reportedly set to start a rental money-making stream once he finally boots his younger brother, Prince Andrew, from the Royal Lodge near Windsor Castle.

“Rental of £1million a year is not far-fetched for a house of that size with incredible royal connections,” a property expert told an outlet.

King Charles III and the Duke of York are reportedly ‘feuding’ over Prince Andrew’s Royal Lodge.

Although Queen Elizabeth II gifted the sprawling estate to her third child in 2003 after the passing of its previous occupant, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, Andrew fell into international disgrace in late 2019 when Virginia Giuffre accused the former helicopter pilot of sexually assaulting her three times on Jeffrey Epstein‘s property. Following the accusations, the prince was not allowed to use his royal style and was stripped of military honors and the ability to undertake royal engagements.

With a new-ish monarch on the throne and a new style of reign still unfolding, Andrew’s status as an ex-working royal likely has the King questioning his sibling’s right to live in one of the grandest estates in the royal portfolio. Charles III is said to be considering allowing Prince William and Kate Middleton to live in its walls since they are the future of the Crown. However, the Crown Estates has the ultimate say in any decision — although the body will “almost always honor the sovereign’s wishes with full deference.”

“It makes sense for Royal Lodge to be handed back to Crown Estates, which can pay for the much-needed repairs and renovations,” the real estate analyst added.

“It could then be rented to earn money for them, the King’s coffers, and the country rather than being a drain on everyone’s resources,” they continued.

Sarah Ferguson stepped into the Royal Lodge feud.

The battle for Royal Lodge is starting to feature “dirty tactics” by Charles III in his effort to kick his disgraced younger brother out of the opulent mansion. Despite his best efforts, the Duke is struggling to keep the lavish estate, but may just have a “secret weapon” in his battle with the reigning monarch. has lived in the Royal Lodge with Andrew as “roommates” since 2008.

This year, Epstein’s former pal has increased his efforts to resist the King’s wish to kick him and Fergie from the residence. Insiders are calling the dispute the “siege of Royal Lodge.”

Majesty Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Ingrid Seward, believes that Prince Andrew’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, might be instrumental in aiding their father.

This comes after Sarah Ferguson recently all but confirmed the long-running Charles and Andrew rift with Good Morning Britain host Martin Lewis when he kept asking the ex-royal about the quarrel. “I tend not to get involved in brothers’ discussions, and I think that’s the safest place to be,” Ferguson pointedly told the broadcaster when asked about the squabble. “Let the brothers discuss it between themselves.”
