NFL star Travis Kelce has been sent some words of wisdom after receiving his third Super Bowl ring.

The Kansas City Chiefs held their ring ceremony on Thursday night following the conclusion of their offseason program.

Dressed in a sleek Chiefs red corduroy suit, paired with a white t-shirt, white shoes, sunglasses, an iced-out chain, and his previous two Super Bowl rings, Travis rocked up at the star-studded event in Missouri.

There, each player was presented with a large red box containing a screen with Super Bowl highlights playing, pieces of confetti from the game, and a diamond-encrusted ring.

Upon seeing the ring for the first time, an enthusiastic Travis, who is dating pop ensation Taylor Swift, placed it onto his right hand, as he stood up to pose for snaps alongside teammate and friend Patrick Mahomes.

After the clip surfaced on X, formerly known as Twitter, the social team for Travis’ New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother and former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason, quickly stepped in.

“Whatever you do, do not put it in a pool of chili @tkelce,” they joked.

This was a reference to an incident in April where Jason lost one of his Super Bowl rings during a live event at their alma mater, the University of Cincinnati.

During the Great Lombaby Games, one of the events saw two students rifling through an inflatable pool filled with Skyline Chili to find a sock, in which Jason’s ring was hidden.

This was a reference to an admission made by Jason on New Heights where he revealed that he kept his rings in a sock.

Unfortunately, whilst the replica ring was found during the chili debacle, the real ring was never located.

This was despite the efforts of a Cincinnati Fox affiliate who even headed for a landfill site in an attempt to locate the ring after it was suggested that it had been dumped along with the chili.

“Travis is much more careful with his rings than Jason,” said one X user.

“Creamed corn would probably be okay though,” joked a second.

“@JasonKelce you aren’t ever living that one down,” added another.

While a fourth replied, “I was there and still can’t believe that ring got thrown out with the chili.”

Travis’ newest ring includes a total of 529 diamonds and 38 rubies.

On top, the Chiefs logo sits in front of four Lombardi trophies, with “World Champions” on either side.

One side of the ring shows the player’s name and number, over Arrowhead Stadium with the banner celebrating the team’s four total championships overhead.

The other side reads “Back-to-back” with the Super Bowl LVIII logo above the game score.

While at the event, Mahomes took the opportunity to let Chiefs fans know that they are far from satisfied with this latest win.

“We ain’t done,” he said in an Instagram Stories post showing his followers his three rings.

The Chiefs will attempt to become the first-ever three-peat Super Bowl champions this upcoming season.
